Pakistan Scouts Cadet College is located at a picturesque lush green spot in Batrasi hills at a distance of 16KM from Mansehra City on Mansehra Balakot Road. The institution offers clean
and healthy environment close to nature. It is fully residential, functions on public school system and fallows the courses of study prescribed by the Ministry of education. Pakistan Scouts Cadet College inherits some unique scouting traditions and efforts are made to inculcate “The Scouting Spirit” in the Cadets through various scout activities such as Moots, Jamboori and Youth Forums. The scout cadets are also provided ample opportunities to groom their latent abilities to become the “First Rate of Citizens of Pakistan”.

The Pakistan Boy Scouts Association purchased 37 acres of land alog Mansehra Kashmir Road in 1960. Keeping in view the future requirements, to establish a national training centre. Later on, it was decided to build a residential School. The construction of school building was started in 1963 by the then Chief Commissioner. Mr N.M Khan, a renowned ICS Officer. Federal Education Minister Late Mr Fazal-ul-Qadir Chaudary laid the foundation stone. The construction of the school had to be suspended due to unavoidable Circumstances. In 1992, Justice Syed Ghous Ali Shah the then Chief Commissioner, Pakistan Boy Scouts Association restarted the construction to establish a scout cadet college. The Prime Minister of Pakistan extended full support to complete the project at the cost of 29 million. The college started functioning in April 1996 and was formally inaugurated on 23rd May 1996 by the then Prime Minister of Pakistan.
